Welcome to 'Herds of Wyoming' which is based off of the popular movie, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. It takes place a few years after Spirit's death along with many of the old horses from the Cimarron Herd. With the appearance of an evil, dark-hearted horse named Copperhead and his herd called the Sosho Herd, the Cimarron herd split forming the Niyaha Herd, Ohitka Herd, and the Zuya Herd. The three newly formed herds must fight to protect each other from Copperhead who has taken a liking to taking young foals along with grown horses as well and making them as evil as himself even using some for slave purposes!

Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness (2 sub-boards) The Beartooth portion of the AB is dominated by vast, treeless plateaus, which fall off sharply into surrounding canyons, much like the Alaska Range. Lakes are much more numerous in Beartooth than in the nearby Absarokas. The lakes are small and tucked high into glacial cirques. The Absarokas, unlike Beartooth, have ample vegetative cover, including dense forests and broad mountain meadows crossed by meandering streams. Moderator: Administrator
Fitzpatrick Wilderness (2 sub-boards) The Fitzpatrick covers the northern half of the Wind River Mountains and is bordered on the west by the Bridger Wilderness. Carved by glaciers from granite and limestone rock, the area contains splendid alpine meadows, rocky plateaus, and stands of virgin timber. Precipitous canyons shadow tumbling streams, and at least 60 crystalline lakes are full of fish. Moderator: Administrator
Teton Wilderness (2 sub-boards) The Teton Wilderness is bordered by the Washakie Wilderness to the east. The land is dominated by timbered ridges, grassy slopes, and broad willow and sedge meadows. Moderator: Administrator

Sosho Herd Lands
Sosho Horses All horses belonging to the Sosho Herd that has been accepted can be found here. Moderator: Administrator
Savage Run (2 sub-boards) The land rises to about 10,000 feet and rolling plateaulike terrain. At the tree line you'll find Engelmann spruce, ponderosa pine, limber pine, Douglas fir, subalpine fir, cottonwood, and quaking aspen. Moderator: Administrator
Free Lands (2 sub-boards) In addition to the herd lands, there are also many open lands that are not claimed by any herd and loners roam here. Moderator: Administrator

Battle Plateau If challenged for the lead of a herd, all challengers and their opponents must come here and fight until either one gives up and/or dies. The fight will be watched by a staff member. Moderator: Administrator
